Preventive Health Care
It is much better to prevent a disease or problem than to treat one. Your pet may be exposed to various diseases and parasites. Our doctors and staff will make health care recommendations for vaccinations, tests and products based on your pets' lifestyle and risk level. Vaccinations - Recommendations for vaccine intervals have changed over the last few years. Some vaccines are not recommended annually any longer. Please speak with your veterinarian about your pet's vaccine needs and risk of contracting disease.

Dental Cleanings & Tooth Extraction
Many pets over the age of 2 have some degree of periodontal disease. Dentistry includes ultrasonic scaling of teeth to remove plaque, high speed polishing, anti-bacterial rinse and flouride foam. The patients' gum line is checked for pockets along with each tooth for damage or disease. Diseased or damaged teeth are removed to prevent future problems and avoid pain.

Surgery
Our doctors and staff utilize the latest advances in veterinary medicine to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable if surgery is necessary. We perform many routine and non-routine surgeries including:

  • Spays & Neuters
  • Declawing
  • Laceration/wound repair
  • Tumor/mass removal
  • Abdominal surgery
  • Ear Hematomas
  • Eyelid surgery
  • Minor Orthopedics
  • Emergency Surgeries such as Caesarians and Gastropexy (bloat)
Internal Medicine
Our doctors commonly see patients that are suffering from Renal Failure, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, Cancer and Heart Disease. We are equipped to diagnose and treat these diseases as well as others. We have specialized equipment that will monitor your pet's condition so that we can make the appropriate medical recommendations.

Radiographs
We have seen broken bones, enlarged hearts and even swallowed coins. Many problems cannot be detected without radiographs (x-rays). We can take radiographs on the smallest of patients to large breed dogs. If you have a champion pet we can also take films for orthopedic certification.

Laboratory
Sick patients need results fast. We have an in-house state of the art blood analyzer that can perform blood chemistries, complete blood counts (CBC), electrolyte levels, as well as thyroid, bile acid and cortisol testing.
